I recently got a job (ok, ok, a volunteer position, but which one takes lees effort to say? exactly)
I now am an employee at Utah's Hogle Zoo (Yay!!!)

sorry, i had to say it. I found one of the Beatle's songs from their... "special" days, about them being the eggman on the cornflake. its scary. and we FINALLY got the cast list! i actually got a lead! all my kissing up paid off! i got ali hakim, the peddler merchant dude. and guess why mrs. ryan gave me the role, go on, i'll wait.

... enough waiting, its because she thought i was flirting with everyone during wonderful life.

...i hate her, but whatever gets me a role i guess.

and we had dance audition today ('bout dang time!)
I think i did good, the dance was fun, and i accidently kicked Seth a couple of times (and "accidently" kicked Kenny, heh-heh-heh) and our musical director called people back in small groups to sing, why couldn't he have done that during my regular try-out?
I'm much more confident singing in a group than by myself.

I hates Mrs. Ryan. She doesn't know that, but she doesn't neeed to know until we're far enough into the musical that i can't be replaced. >;) Shall we list the reasons i hate her? yes, lets.

She doesn't want any seventh graders in the muscial
She's considering oklahoma for the musical
she wants a three-minute monologue memorized for auditions (on wed. by the way)
i'm gonna have to be stuck with her for the rest of the year
She'll tell you one thing, then change her mind last minute
and last (on the list), when we took pictures for "wonderful life" we didn't know till an hour before

its people like Mrs. Ryan who make me want to quit doing theatre, luckily, my friends get me through every rehearsal and every performance. thank you for keeping me from killing mrs. ryan guys (even if you're only stopping me so you can do it yourselves...)

so sorry, i've been so busy i forgot i had a blog. *gasp* but its ok now. we finished the play, its christmas break, and i is pleased with my life. and... MY DAD IS COMING HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS!!! SQUEEEEEEE!! so you can tell i'm excited. i've also decided to incorpirate chinese (中文) into my blog, so be ready for that then. umm... thats just about it... i thought it was about time to add a new postie-thing to my bloggy-thing-a-ma-bob, so i'm going to tell a story. gather round children and grab your blankies, its story time! yay! last friday, i was in my drama class, and we were doing two person improvs that had to go faster every time. i went up with cassandra, and we did a kitchen demonstration improv. we were demonstrating how to use kitchen utensils, i.e.; knives, blenders, and pointy things. we had another 15 seconds to fill, and the little voice in my head said, "think, fast, go, now." So i pretended to drop the pointy thing (which i think we decided was a fork) and said, "ooh look a floor, hi floor! oh look a spoon!" i then proceded to pretend to use the spoon as a knife and be emo. so there you go. spoon, depressed.

Ok, lets get down to business, drama. I'm currently in a production of Its a Wonderful Life. Iz no so happy. If we can perfect this in oh, in the 24 days we have left until our first performance, then maybe it'll be fine. But we have nothing done. We still need to build scenery and just about no one has there lines memorized. But maybe still we could pull it off if we ever stay past 4:30 and we actually put in effort. Maybe. On the bright side, many of my good friends are in the play too. Such as; AmyAnne, Ethan, Taylor, the Cary twins (Dylan and Jared), Bailey, Thomas, Alison, and myself. Thers some other people too, but these are unimportant. On another bright side, my Dad will be able to see me perform! Yay! In case your wondering, I play Mr. Martini, the proprietor of the local bar (and yes, i have a drunk scene)! So far there sacndal then rehearsal, but that's a different story.
